Is there going to be a new handheld gaming system coming out anytime soon?

I was thinking about getting the psp... but i was wondering if i should wait a little bit longer and get a better handheld... well if anyone knows where i can look at the new handhelds that companies are making i would sure appreciate it if you would tell me! THANKS!!!
I already have a ds and i don't really like it.. weird games on it...
 
im not shure but if you look at sony's product line,
they make a version of a console and then when sales slow down, they make a smaller better cheaper version right before they make a new one.

look at the psp, they just released the psp slim.

go figure, i would guess there about to make a new one.
 
get a DS Lite

it is way cheaper and is really fun when playing with friends. It is great if you like games like mario cart and pokemon but like if you like sports games and action games stick with the PSP

but other than that, no there are no other handheld game systems
 
I don't think so. I know that the DS is fairly new so they won't bring something new in for a while but Idk everything about these things
 
new handheld systems usually come out every year or so... if you wait, eventually another system will come out after that and you'll want to buy the newer system..

its best to buy the games that you like rather than seeing which system is newer
