I'm not gay, but I was just curious, is there any evidence that gay people are child molestors? I'm asking because people are always saying it's true, but I never saw anything concrete.

Now, in all fairness I believe it's not right to automatically accuse homosexuals of being child molestors. Homophobes want to believe it to be true until they see evidence that it's not true.

But the analogy here is, do you really want to send a guilty person to jail without evidence?

In the same way, do you really want to condemn gays for being child molestors when there is no evidence?

This is NOT an opinion question. No matter what side you take when you answer this question, I want scientific proof when you answer!

I will not consider your question (no matter what side you are on) if there is any weaknesses in your arguement.
When I say "are gay people child molestors" I mean for the most part.

Because even if gay people are not typically child molestors, there's still bound to be some that are.

Just like, for the most part, straight people aren't child molestors, but there is still some straight that are.

So what I meant to ask is "Are gay people TYPICALLY child molestors."
 
my cousins step father was a child molester and she is a girl
my friends parents are gay and they never touched her
my parents never touched me
there was this gay priest who molested little boys

so what i am trying to say is

some gay people dont
some gay people do
some straight people dont
some straight people do
 
hey steph right on you hit it out of the park ....no actually as a straight hetero married with kids guy I have to admit by statistics gays do not molest kids as much as tired old sick azz white dudes...(I am white too) wow am I really becoming left wing?

There is actually evidence that the opposite is true:

'Adoption expert, Carrie Craft cites the Child Welfare Information Gateway (previously National Adoption Information Clearinghouse) as stating, "A child's risk of being molested by his or her relatives' heterosexual partner is over one hundred times greater than by someone who might be identifiable as being homosexual." The study also found that of 269 cases of child sex abuse, only two offenders where found to be gay or lesbian. The American Psychological Association agrees, "Another myth about homosexuality is the mistaken belief that gay men have more of a tendency than heterosexual men to sexually molest children. There is no evidence to suggest that homosexuals molest children."

According to these reputable studies, gay men are actually less likely to molest children.'
 
Some gay people are child molesters.
Some gay people are not child molesters.
Some straight people are child molesters.
Some straight people are not child molesters.

Child molesters exist, therefore they must be either gay or straight.

There's your evidence.
 
You, know i had a friend raped by a straight gay. im not gona say her name...but she got raped..


and then i the news theres all this talk about this rapist that is a homeless guy he raped a girl got her pregnate and so she got an abortion and then she got a desiese, it was in san antonio texas, and she went on the mary tv show and told be to watch out for that guy....

and there was thiss talk about how this priest raped his own daughters, and no one would belive them til the age 24, that was also on mary

gosh the people that told gays are child molesters are some dumb shieisse heads...really did they forget about the news about girls geting raped? under the age of 17?

wich i dont belive they are....because thats stupied, just because there wife beaters and rapists doesnt mean i should say o that should be most of striaght guys typical behavior.
 
There are probaly as many or more men out there seducing little girls as little boy's. And, gay men are not all child molesters.

pedopheilia is a mental disease that afflicts people of all orientations.

it used to be the christian right wingers that used to perpetuate that myth of it being mainly gays until we all realized how many christian priests were doing it. to their own kids

now they just stick to generalized anti gay hate.speech
 
I have no scientific proof because Im not the one needing research on this subject. However, it seems most of the people caught at child molesting are straight and many are men of the cloth.....
