Is there some kind of kitchen gadget for properly making funnel cakes?

I currently use a funnel (like one for your car) but I can never evenly get the batter in the skillet. It never turns out right.

I use a plastic bottle, the kind Walmart sells for putting mustard or ketchup in. I cut the tip the right size for the batter to come out. Much easier than messing with a funnel. They do make a special tool that looks like a funnel but has a trigger to release the batter, I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a gadget like that when a plastic bottle will do.
