Is there such a thing as a USB header to sata adapter? If so where can i get one?

I have a card reader that i wanted to install but the motherboard dose not have one on it Dell used a IDE cable instead to connect the front-side USB ports and did not add an extra spot for one. So can i connect the card reader to a SATA port instead with an adapter? if so where can I get one?
