Yes, and no. There is a sport called drifting. The only difference is people don't gather around in a huge empty parking lot and do it. Most kids A. Don't have the money to build cars like that and B. Don't know how to build cars like that. Just like in the first 2 Fast and Furious movies. They over hype it. No one goes to giant racing events and says "Yo! man I only bet pinks". Plus, you can't drive most Drift spec cars on the street because most drift spec cars have welded open differentials. If you try to drive one on the street just taking a corner at low speeds will cause you to oversteer.

Yes, but it's not drifting like in the movies. It burns and puts too much pressure on the tires. Most of the time, they just do it in competitions and exhibitions. There's many videos on youtube of professional drifters. You should check them out.
