D Don'tTrickleonMe New member Sep 14, 2009 #2 My understanding of Bell's Palsy is that it only affects one side of the face. I sometimes get some numbness in my face when I have a migraine headache. I would definitely see a doctor if I were you. Better safe than sorry.
