Is this guy interested or is he just trying to be friendly?

I know this guy that works at the Starbucks I go to every week. Since I go in there often, we just starting chatting and became acquaintances.......

Last week, we chatted and he asked me if I am going to school this coming semester in college, and I said no, I'm taking it off to go overseas to visit my family.

Well, today, I went in & said "hi". We just chat about this and that nothing important. When I was getting ready to leave, he changes the subject and asks me when i'm going to be leaving for overseas. I tell him I'm going in October, and he says "Oh okay..." and he looks like he's contemplating something. I ask him why he is curious and he doesn't really respond back. He notices that I seem to be in a big hurry and asks me if its because a ride is waiting outside for me. He then says he will just see me next time and we say bye.

Soooo, is he just trying to be friendly to me or is he actually interested ?

He's not the flirty type of guy but confident and friendly. I've NEVER gotten the notion that he liked me because he's always a nice guy to people. But it seems like all of a sudden he's curious about me more so than before. I can't figure him out .
 
haha, oh boys. they give us a headache don't they? he's interested :) i'm almost positive. why not ask him if he wants to go out to lunch or dinner with you before you leave? take it from there. good luck!
 
He's trying to get up the courage to ask you out. What he doesn't know is if you want to date a Starbucks counter guy. He doesn't want to be embarrassed if he asks you and you tell him no. So, what you can do is choose a movie (one that he would like, too) and next time you see him ask if he's seen that movie? Tell him you want to see it Saturday afternoon and ask if he wants to go along? Then listen.
 
ask him if he has a g/f and see the reaction if he's happy ask him to hang out and give him ur number : )

if he doesn't call u can move on and still go to that starbucks but be friendly and show him u don't care either way haha
 
i rly think he is interested, he's just not sure if your commited so he's not pushing it too hard
