Three years apart. Guy is older.

Girl: Out going. Likes parties. Very talkative. Fun.

Guy: not out going. Quite. Almost anti social. Very few friends. but very close with those who he has befriended. Still kind and makes funny jokes to those who he is comfortable with like with his family and best friend.
Also the guy doesn't like to drink while the girl likes it alot.

Two very different people are perfect for each other. People talk about how they want someone who has the same interests in them and etc. But when people are two completely different, it keeps things interesting and you're constantly learning new things about each other. It's definitely possible.

Opposites can work very well as compliments, they can also work just as well against each other. It would require some sacrifices, but I don't see why it couldn't work.
