Is this normal for other horses too?

Starting off with some basic details about my lease horse. Ella is a nine year old Paint mare. Except for when I'm with her, she spends her time out in the pasture with about 20 other horses. Whenever I tie her up in the tie stalls to groom and saddle her, within just a few minutes she poops normal sized piles 2-4/5 times. She seems healthy but she also tends to poop when she gets nervous. Is it normal for horses to poop a lot when they are in the barn?
