I have read about the damn # symbol (that you have to put it when there's a change in a scene or a new chapter). Do I put the symbol or does it mean that I have to put the number of the chapter etc? I want you to help me. Is this the right way to do it?
This is an example:
(In bold)
Chapter two
(name of the chapter)

OR:
Chapter # two: name of the chapter
/ Please let me know.

No, this is considered very Low Quality, it just isn't professional.

Friend, you are spending way too much time worrying about formatting and not enough time writing.

Finish your book first. Then, when you have edited it about a dozen times and rewritten and feel really good about it, look at the manuscript submission guidelines for specific publishing houses and format your ms accordingly.
