I'm an artist and I love Indian artwork. If I painted or sculpted an Indian god, would that be un-Christian of me? I don't want to insult anyone if I have company over. What do you think?

there's nothing wrong with appreciating other cultures. anyone who says otherwise is xenophobic.

If this is a serious worry in your life, then really, it's the least of your problems.

If you are not saved, it doesn't matter: if you are, you should no there are no other gods.

if you're a christian artist or sculptor,
painting or sculpturing an idol is a SIN.

the 2nd commandment says ..
Le 19:4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor MAKE to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

christians must not have anything to do with idols ...
we do not worship them
we do not paint or make idols
we do not buy such paintings or sculptures
we do not support this industry in ANY way.

you have just sinned and are now a hypocrite. repenting is futile, you're going to hell with the rest of us

I believe it is ok to draw. But important that you don't let it be worth more then a decent picture

Are you afraid of what others will think? Then you are an artist and a christian both for the wrong reasons.
