Is Tomato Torrent a filesharing application?

Hillary, yes it is a file sharing application, that's the way it is supposed to work. You should not turn the sharing part of it off, it doesn't make sense because if every people does the same then nobody, not even you, could get those file you are looking for. Also remember that you will share just the files you are going to download and no others unless you want to upload some of your own.
If you have specific reasons to avoid uploading you should look for another source for your files other than torrents.
One more, some torrent programs (IDK about Tomato Torrent) will limit your downloading capabilities if you decide not to upload.

I am unsure as to wether or not Tomato Torrent is a filesharing application or not. I thought that It just translated torrent files so that Mac's could read them, so to speak.
if it is a filesharing application, is there a way to turn the sharing part off?
