Is yogurt ok to eat when getting over the stomach virus?

I'm really not sure what I had. I never vomited though many times felt as if I was going to, and I had diarrhea only once at the very very start of it.

It started Thurs. I've felt better since Sat. except I'm having problems getting off the BRAT diet. I've been eating Saltine crackers and a banana...when I go off just a bit(small bits of a pork chop, bite of a FiberOne bar), my stomach, or abdomen, hurt and my intestines feel out of whack though I never have the urge to throw up. I also feel constipated. There's this uncomfortable, not so much pain, feeling as well as hunger.

I'm just afraid of the dairy in yogurt because apparently it curdles in the stomach. I don't want to end up where I started. I have the Sunnyside farms brand, fat free, 80 calories.

I'm worried cause I've never been bothered by the virus this long after starting it.

The best things to eat when you have the stomach flu, stomach virus or upset stomach, are rice, bananas and clear broth soups. Those foods are not rough on the stomach and you will be able to tolerate them until the flu/virus passes.
