Isn't it funny how you think you matured but hurt still feels the same?

Rejection still feels the same way as it did during the constant rejection I endured during high school... that was a time ago... a previous chapter… I'm still a young man I’m in my twenties, but I like to think I have matured allot... Right now I feel the same as when I was 14-16... Even though this time I know what I’m feeling...

I'm more confident, less vengeful, less angry... but goddamn it... rejection still hurts... hehe... Its just now... I react to it in a better way...

I'm looking at the skyline from my loft and I'm 16 years old again... I suppose some of us never really grow out of feeling heartbreak do we?

I guess I made some progress... that alone makes it hurt less... that and this beautiful view - which is all mine!

Look at me… a Philosophy and Economics Major with a job and a nice place – with these simple questions – once again my mind is on some of the same things as before…

Do you think we are really all just a bunch of confused freshmen on the inside? I wonder if I am thinking too childish?

rejection hurts no matter how old you are, but you shouldnt take it personally, some things just arent meant to be and thats for a reason. Think of what you have acheived in your life and be proud !!!! I bet some of those who rejected you in the past have a lot less than you do. they probably werent good enough for you anyway. Just think...thats their loss, they are the ones who missed out

Sht happens we learn from our mistakes and rejection it happened time to move forward,
