Like for example, all the posers on myspace and facebook. I mean, it's just a waste of your time creating a profile on the computer for someone you arent.
I'm not saying I haven't had my own obsessions ... but, i'm talking about the people who go way too far. Like, pretending to fool people into thinking it's really them and get thousands of friends. It's just plain stupid and a waste of time.

haven't you ever been obsessed with a celebrity ever?? Well some people have and its just something they get over. There's nothing wrong or sick about it. its normal.

i have my off and on obsessions with idols/fave musicians, because i admire them
but the people who pretend to be them & change themselves to look like them go way too far
so yes, i agree

i agree---ppl need to back off and let ppl live their own lives!! its great they love celebs but don't go all over them--they need personal space too ppl!!

Someone took the time to post a fake Twitter account of Emma Watson, and stated she was going to Yale.....lol. Most celebrities, if they in fact have Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter, DO NOT USE THEIR REAL NAMES!!!

Its true that your time could be sent doing something else. But the fact is that in these times, people want to escape their reality. They don't want to thing about the horrible things in their life, so living through someone like a celebrity cures that for them, but only for a short period of time. I don't think its sick, but I do think that its a sad cycle to not want to face your reality.
