Isn't the learning to pull up to a stand and cruise stage scary?

My 8 month old son is at the scary wanting to stand all the time stage. He pulls up and gets all excited and forgets he needs to hold on and down he goes. He's also starting to cruise a little, but is by no means good at it. I nursed two owies in about a half hour today. I know that falling is part of learning, but I find myself wishing that I had a nice padded room for him. I have all the unsafe stuff hidden away, but that doesn't help prevent the little one from forgetting he needs to hold on and down he goes.

(And in case you were wondering, baby is sleeping, that's why I'm on the internet.)

As long as he isnt seriously hurting himself then he will be okay. just make sure your house is baby proof including padding sharp corners on coffee tables etc.

Oh yes and I hate to say but it only going to get worse! Its only preparing you for whats to come! It toughens them up though!
