What is an iso file and how do i use it. Recently i got a game but it was an iso file. So how do i play it

Think of an ISO as a snapshot image of an actual CD or DVD - you can burn this image to a CD or DVD or you can MOUNT this image in a VIRTUAL CD/DVD PLAYER such as virtual clone drive (free) - it's like loading a real CD or DVD in a real player but it's all done through software
