We are going to Istanbul for a week with 2 teenagers boys 15y and a 18y old girl. We are staying at the Intercontinental (Taksim area). I know temperature will be cold so I am trying to plan activities with my teens. Also I would like to have some fun myself. We would like to see belly dancers and enjoy a Turkey bath and go SHOPPING!
I would like to go out of tourist area to shop which perhaps can be less expensive. Where to eat local food and meet local people, where to go with the kids and without them
, etc.. We would like to make a plan that everybody can enjoy the vacation.
Any of your sugestions will be highly appreciated

I would like to say that we deserve a night out, without the children. Thanks for all that inf. but I think will be too cold for the boat trip?
