He said that in one of his preachings

he seems to be preaching hypocrisy then?
that is half love not full

God get my mom out of these Christian Churches!

no he is not crazy

he is correct
it is better to not really believe in jesus then it would be to pretend you believe and worship him as if you do believe.

the latter you are deceived and will not get eternal life

by not believing you can at least have a chance to come to god to truly believe then pretend you believe already
