iTunes is being a beast. -.- lol Plz help.?

So.. I was being really bored one night and decided to download all the free apps.. lol..

I just got done deleting them!! and I hit sync to get them off my iPod nd the stupid iPod downloaded them back onto iTunes. lol I'm soo mad..

Okay so here's the question.

Is there a faster way to delete them, then deleting them one by one?

If you're deleting them off of the computer:
Click on the top one hold shift then click on the bottom one and click DELETE.. Boom.. all gone xD

If they are all next to each other on a list just click the top one, hold down shift, and click the bottom one. It selects them all. Hope that helped
