I've downloaded several movie torrents encoded by XviD...?

...my problem is I can't play them. I've already downloaded the XviD codec but I still can't play my downloaded movies. What should I do? Can I convert it or anything? PLEASE HELP ME.
 
I had the same problem, easy way to get through it.
Download VLC Media/Movie player. Its amazing and you can use it to play any films.
