My boyfriend has recently bought a J reg Toyota MR2. He got it fairly cheaply from a dealer (we are using it for a road trip around Europe next March). It appears to be in reasonable condition but lately we have noticed that it occasionally snakes around when driven, sometimes jerking quite violently. It appears to be completley random and not directly connected to high speed, acceleration, braking or bumps in the road. Could it be the suspension or does it need a wheel alignment maybe??
