In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple days, you know that Jeremy Lin is now a member of the Houston Rockets. The New York Knicks failed to match Lin’s offersheet, which officially put an end to Linsanity as we knew it. With him in Houston, how will that impact Jeremy Lin in fantasty basketball for the 2012-13 season.
Personally, I think this actually raises his stock. Last season, the Rockets had a lot of success with both Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic running point guard. While some of that is the fact that both Lowry and Dragic are quality players, head coach Kevin McHale also runs a very point guard friendly system. In that system, I’d expect Jeremy Lin to thrive.
What are Jeremy Lin’s stat projections? Don’t be surprised if he averages something along the lines of 16 points and 7 assists to go along with nearly two steals per game.
