Jesus Christ sacrificed himself on the cross to let everyone know that he was there?

That is a very superficial way to view His actions. No I can't and won't believe that.
 
Nope. He sacrificed Himself on the cross so that you can have eternity with Him.
 
Plenty of people were crucified during those days, they must be pretty pissed how nobody payed them attention instead worshiping Jesus.
