Of course it is not David's Kingdom restored, and it is not a Torah-governed state. The biblical Israel existed before David and most of the time it was not Torah-governed.
My question is whether it is exactly the same nation returning home and recapturing its sovereignty according the the prophecies, or is it another entity which happened to emerge in the same place with the same name?
