jobs and colleges of the future?

I am taking careers right now and my teacher is telling the class that we should know what college we want to go to and jobs that we would want and what major we should go into when we get into college. my teacher is making me freak out so bad because I can barely think, its stressing me that bad. Should I know all this information right now? I am also only in the 10th grade. I just think that my teacher is telling us this to get us scared or something because I am getting to that point. Please help! thanks
 
Predicting the best jobs and future job direction is impossible. A hot job now such as web developer did not even exist 15 years ago. Your teacher is probably just trying to get you to think about this stuff - that's all. However most people who go to college have no idea what they want to do when they are finished, and of those that do most change their minds innumerable times. So for now just give it a bit of thought but don't stress out about it.
