Just bought a new internal cd/dvd drive for my older PC..wont play

DVDs..what do i do? This is the msg i received when i tried to watch a dvd on my computer.."Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card."

Im computer retarded..what do i do?
