just curious,dog clippers is?

there a difference between human and pet shears as i previously bought pet clippers that had instructions for humans as well.Are there special clippers for long haireddogs,like malt silkys etc.i need to buy more just want to get good set.

Dog shears are different than human ones, especially for long haired dogs. PetSmart sells very good quality ones so I suggest buying some from there.

Look at the Oster A5, dual speed. I got that for my great pyrenees and it'll hold up quite well... it's for dogs with lots of hair... not for humans

I saw some clippers at the pet store. quite expensive too. the box said they were quieter than the human sort. i think that would make them worth the extra because some of the clippers I've heard were loud.
