Just finished the last episode of Death Note. I have some questions?

Even at the end of the series, they never revealed L's real name. If I am mistaken, could you let me know where they say it at? Don't tell me it, I wanna witness it being revealed for myself.
But, it its not revealed in the show, is it revealed in the Death Note movies?
Even if it isn't, how many Death Note movies are there, and when do they take place?
Also, at the end of the episode, when Light dies, he see's L right before. What does that mean?
What you guys have said has cleared some things, but I just watched the last episode of Death Note and I don't remember seeing another Shinigami with Ryuk at all. It was just him talking about the deal Light made with him by using the Death Note.

Also, what is this 13th book? Are the novels canon? Which order should I watch the movies in?

Thanks.

They never say it. You find out his name through the manga if you buy the special box for $100 because inside is a special "L Name Card". Yeah....I did that. :) Not for the name, though. I had figured it out before hand. :)

Death Note Movies:

Death Note Live Action (2 parts)
L: Change The World
Death Note: The Last Name

As for Light seeing L:

Remember how Light sort of loomed over L like that? That is what exactly L did to Light when Light dies. But, one of the rules in the Death Note is that the person who uses the Death Note cannot go to Heaven nor Hell. So, many of the fans think that at the very, very last episode/epilogue of the show, they show Ryuk telling this other shinigami a story of Yagami Light. That shinigami, as many fans suggest, is Light himself, remaining in Purgatory forever as a shinigami, because of the red tie tied around his head (like the one Light has), and the jacket he wore was similar to the one Light also wore. At the very end, when the mysterious shinigami leaves Ryuk to go to the human world, Ryuk says, "Light".

EDIT:

There are also two Death Note Novels. They are:

1. Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angeles B.B. Murder Cases
2. L: Change the World
