Ok, don't take this question the wrong way. I am someone who definitely sees pedophiles as criminals who hurt children. However, the reason I think this is because I think children are not mature enough for sex. I thought this was why society would see pedophilia as wrong, but when I think about it, society doesn't really agree with me that children should not be having sex. The media is always portraying teens in a sexual way and people who have not have sex by age 18 are ridiculed. But if this is the case then why are adults who have sex with teens looked at with such contempt by society? If you think it's ok for teens to be having sex, then what difference does it make if they are having sex with a fellow teen or an adult? It's not like sex with an adult causes some kind of trauma that sex with a fellow teen does not. So then what's the deal?
