Karate Techniques Question?

[Orochimaru]

I practice shitoryu karate. I have been doing it for a year and a half. My school is a traditional school and sometimes i heard it takes time to learn more advanced techniques.. My question is ... Does shitoryu have chokes in it? Will we learn some choking techniques... Shime Waza?

the question shouldn't be whether or not the style has it, but if your instructor has it. many people by the time they actually reach the rank of instructor pick up moves from other fighting styles. and some instructors don't pick up the moves involved in their style. you should really ask your instructor if he could teach you.
