Kenny Rogers has passed the legendary Pedro Martinez this season in...

no way..
Kenny Rogers will never make the Hall of Fame..There are way too many pitchers with more wins than him (ie. David Wells, Blyleven, Morris, Kaat, Tommy John) that are not in.

As for Pedro..I think 1st ballot is for guys who were dominant or the best at their position for many years..Pedro will be in the Hall someday but I'm reluctant to put him in on the first ballot. 211 wins and that winning percentage is great..He is a classic "6 inning pitcher". He only pitched more than 217 innings twice in his career. and only pitched 200 innings 7 times..But he was pretty dominant between 1997-2002. . Should be interesting when he retires.
