Kevin Durant is a great player. However, he isn’t considered a triple double threat. Until now, at least. On Sunday evening, Kevin Durant posted his first triple double of his career against the Golden State Warriors.
In 39 minutes, Durant had 25 points, 13 rebounds and ten assists as the Thunder beat the Warriors by a final score of 119-109.
How excited was Durant about the triple double? Not very.
“I really didn’t care, to be honest,” said Durant after the game. “If it came, then that’s cool. If it didn’t, then just keep playing.”
Durant’s triple double shouldn’t be a complete shock. While his scoring average is down a bit, he’s averaging career-highs in rebounding and assists.
