Kevin Kolb is already hurt. In the first preseason game of the 2012 NFL season, the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals suffered bruised ribs. Kevin Kolb was injured ahile being hit by Sedrick Ellis of the New Orleans Saints.
The good news for Kevin Kolb and the Cardinals is that the injury doesn’t appear to be serious. In fact, he could be back in action very soon.
Said Ken Whisenhunt, Arizona’s head coach: “He has a bruise in his chest and that makes it kind of tough to rotate, move. I think he’ll probably be practicing sometime this week.”
While Kevin Kolb was definitely a disappointment last season with the Cardinals, he’s a sleeper in 2012 fantasy football. He has a lot of talent and the Cardinals have enough weapons for him to put up big numbers. Of course, that assumes this injury indeed ends up being minor.
