My kitten wont let me out of his sight. He comes to work with me because if I leave him at him he cries until he falls asleep then starts up again once he's awake. He is about 6-8 weeks his previous owner didn't want him because he was loud supposedly, when I got him he was all bones and starving. He gets plenty of food and love, he's litter box trained already and this is the 3rd day just about.
How long until he'll be comfortable alone? Should I get him a stuffed animal as a sort of surrogate while im out? I cant take him to work every day since we're getting busy, and he cant be with my ferret unmonitored because they play too rough and he's still tiny.
Im not willing to give him up, I just need him to be more comfortable with out me sometimes, he sleeps with me and follows me everywhere its like he has radar for where I am since if he wakes up and im not there he runs around yowling until he finds me.
I think its because I am the only one that feeds him, if my mom feeds him some will he be able to stay with her sometimes?
Any ideas of what I should do? Please?
