Kodak EasyShare M820 Digital Picture Frame aspect ratio question?

I am looking to buy the Kodak EasyShare M820 Digital Picture Frame found here ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B001FN2PDG/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A17MC6HOH9AVE6&v=glance ). According to Kodak, the frame has a 16:9 aspect ratio. Does anyone know how this frame handles pictures that have the normal 4:3 aspect ratio? Does it have a black area on the sides? Is the picture stretched to fit the 16:9 aspect ratio?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a similarly priced digital picture frame that is better?
