I will be starting college (Juilliard) this coming fall - and I am moving to New York about a month after Summer vacation starts, to become adjusted and comfortable with the new surroundings. Anyways, I currently have a regular computer - but it makes more sense to have a laptop in New York, so it can be taken places, especially since I write a lot, and it is nice to just have it with you. Anyways, I really do not know much about computers at all.Can you reccomend a good laptop?Price doesn't matter. Also, I've always had a computer that runs Microsoft, but I am thinking I am going to have a Mac a chance, it just seems there are less issues and are more user friendly, so a Mac of some sort would be great! Thanks.

I don't know much about Mac computers except that they are a good choice. From what I've heard, Sony is a good choice for a laptop. Just make sure you have adequate hard-drive space (no less than 120 -200 GB), and adequate RAM (no less than 2 GB). My best advice though is to look at consumer reviews. I think you'll probably make a good choice after reading a few comments on what and what not to buy.Good luck!
