is bluetooth worth having on a note book computer? what do you use it for?
thanks.

MOST technicians think bluetooth on a computer blows. It may be good for low end consumers to hook up their cell phone, but a cable is faster. regular rf mice work just as well as bluetooth and are cheaper and MUCH more reliable. It is good on a game controller for a gaming system.

On a computer, bluetooth is an option that most people have but don't use. the trouble is that they don't disable it in bios and it is a constant drain on their resources (hardware is virtualized in ramm, plus it is always quering, so it uses up your battery too).

I recommend turning it off in bios or NOT ordering it as an option. I have not tried 3.0

Nah i wouldn't bother trying to find a notebook that has bluetooth in it, I mean at some stage if you do need one there only like a $15 USB.
