We're planning on setting up an aquarium. I've done some research and think some hardy cold water fish would be easiest to start with, so have my heart set on some white cloud mountain minnows, 3 or 4 of them.
I plan on getting a tank 30 litre +, obviously the size will depend on which fish I eventually put in it. But when it's set up and the minnows have settled in, what other slightly bigger fish could I put in with them?
I know the minnows are fast and playful, and I'd like a fish that would be bigger and a bit of a centre piece to the tank.
I like common goldfish with the long bodies, but not a fan of the bubble eyed/telescope eyed or black moor types. Thanks.
Also, I'm in the UK. Not sure on different species we might not have here ...
