Laughing at animal cruelty?

Okay, so I'm in a death metal band, so I'm comfortable with gore and the like. I just want to know what people think about that stuff.
In my junior year in high school there were all these death metal people I would hang out with. One guy named Mike was really twisted and stuff, almost to the point where we were all freaked by him. One day during lunch he found a dead bird by a fan. We dared him to "be brutal" because everyone knows the more brutal you are, the more metal you are. So he twisted the bird's head off and stuck it on a sharp stick. You'd expect me to be sickened but I actually laughed. Am I a bad person?
Keep in mind, the bird had probably been dead for about six to eight hours, or even a day.
 
yea that is definitely not funny or good personality trait.

What if someone did that to you when you died ( even though you were 6-7 hours dead) and ripped your head off and put it on a stick just for a cheap laugh.

Thats just sick
 
even though the bird was dead i still think it was a bit weird to take the head off.
 
Nope - no way is it a good thing to do - or even to laugh at. Yeah the bird might be dead but to touch it is the most germy, disgusting thing to do. You can catch stuff. Whats more why would you want to be known as brutal/mental ???
 
umm so you wanted to prove your manly metalness.... pushover. you're not sick or deranged your just trying to impress too many people.
 
Umm...If I was there personally and saw you laugh, I would think pretty low of you for sure. But I guess you're on here asking, so maybe you do feel a little bad?All I can say is, at least the bird was already dead. But please don't encourage anyone to do those things. It's pretty gross, immature, and not very compassionate for the poor little birdy :)
Plus....girls don't like that sort of thing!

How do you feel about yourself? Did you feel guilty when it happened, or afterwards? I hope you don't still hang out with this guy...

He is seriously twisted to do that kind of thing, and it WONT make you more HXC.
what will make you HXC is your music and clothes but NOT breaking a birds head off and sticking it on a stick!
