relate it to the priesthood? LDS Aaronic Priesthood Manual Still Discourages Interracial Marriage

From the Aaronic Priesthood Manual:
“Lesson 31: Choosing an Eternal Companion,” Aaronic Priesthood Manual 3, 127
"We recommend that people marry those who are of the same racial background generally, and of somewhat the same economic and social and educational background."

Further down it asks:
• Why is it important for a couple to have a similar economic, educational, and cultural background?

Yes please, answer that one... Notice how the "somewhat" above is for everything else, but the racial thing... that's not a somewhat, that's given stronger empathsis... so... yea.... explain this one guys.

You can marry whoever you want, no matter the race. I'm into gringos. My sister's into Hispanics and my brother is into Asians. It doesn't matter what race your spouse is. You'll find quite often in all of society people will marry people of the same race. That's just how it happens. As for economics, etc, do you honestly thing some super rich doctor could sustain a healthy relationship with a spouse who maybe got through high school but no college or anything? Do you realize how hard it can be for some people to live in one culture while another lives in a completely different one. How can they connect? It's not easy. Chill out. These lessons give suggestions but are not doctrine. Stop taking things word-for-word and accusing Mormons whenever you're able. It's not funny.
