The U.S. men’s basketball team is loaded with superstar players. However, on man stands tallest among the stars: LeBron James. The reigning MVP of the 2012 regular season and the Finals, LeBron James is obviously the best player on the planet — and he’s acting like it in the Olympics.
LeBron James isn’t dominating in the manner you may think. It’s not his scoring that is setting him apart. It’s actually LeBron James’ passing and defense that is turning heads. He may very well be the best passer on the team and his defense, which oftentimes matches him against players who are either bigger or quicker than he is, has been commendable.
The Olympics don’t hand out an MVP award but if they did, LeBron James would be the overwhelming favorite to win the Olympics MVP.
