lexus is200 or BMW 320?

right i have £3500 can go as far as £4000 but i dont no which one to go for ....lexus is200 se 6 speed or a BMW 320i....i want something sporty smooth drive looks good luxury ...ber in mind im only 19 and my friends are saying im to young for a lexus however i really really want a lexus dont no why ...insurance isnt a problem ....Thanks
 
In the long run, Lexus will hold its value over a BMW, so that's one reason to go with the Lexus. Also, I find that BMWs are very "fisher price" in that it's super slammed together without much thought and "style", unlike Mercedes, Lexus, Acura, Audi, etc. Also, when your car has mechanical problems, a BMW (since it's German) will cost significantly more to fix than a Lexus (Japanese). There is no such thing as being "too young" for a Lexus if you can afford it - it sounds like they're just jealous.
