LG Chocolate screen lights up randomly?

For some reason my new LG chocolate screen lights up just randomly for no reason but makes the slightest little noise like (do-do) but more of a beep sound and is very quiet. It does this every 2 minutes or so. Why does it do this??? Its really annoying and i think it wastes my battery power every time the screen lights up. How can I stop it from doing this????

Yep..it's broken. Your software will probably die soon.

I'm on my third one. First time it started doing that then the entire screen turned white, software died.

Second time I couldn't make phone calls..I would have full service and it would drop every single call within seconds of dialing.

The third one I have now.. The "OK" button is starting to fail. I have to hit it 5-6 times before it registers.

Problem is I live in VT and have to drive to MA to get a replacement...they should be paying for my freaking gas at this rate.

When your phone does die, complain and throw the biggest fit of your freaking life and get a different phone all together!!!

It may turn on in your pocket or something..You have to turn it off..And by the way the LG Chocolate was a horrible phone for me..it got messed up by itself twice!! and it broke once in half!

If your on the phone while it does this than it counts min...or a reminder. I have the same phone. mine only does that if i set the min. reminder button..if not then i would send it back you should have insurance on it.
