I have a frost-free/ non frost LG refrigerator bought in 2008. I keep it off every night. 4 months back I had to replace its timer with a new one because it was not cooling. It functioned well then. But now the compressor never turns off unless I shut the freeze off. The cooling is still okay. What is really the problem here? Should I replace the timer and never unplug the refrigerator? Does keeping it off every night cause the timer malfunction?
