Lg Optimus or Huawei ascend? (HELP!!)?

i need a new phone ASAP. i still have a sidekick lx 2009 and its 2011. something young and cute. im 16 and im stuck between the metro pcs Lg optimus or huawei ascend. which one is better and why? what makes them different? which one should i get ?
 
LG Optimus. Better build quality, better screen, 3G, more profitable when you want to sell it later on, and it's flat-out a more reputable brand that will most likely give you better tech support and customer service levels.
