LG RUMOR TOUCH!? MY AUDIO HELP? text messaging?

ok so i just recently got the lg rumor touch
and i want to put ringtones for my text messaging
but when i click my audio, it says no ringer file?
why?
i mean i did custom ringtones for incoming calls liek just now, and they worked, but why cant i do it for text messaging?
 
I have the same phone... The only ringtones that will be saved in the my audio file are Qcp ringtones. Regular ringtones are 3G2 format and message tones are supposed to be Qcp tones. So convert your tones to that format and send it to your phone via email. If you dont know your phones email it is [email protected] (yournumber=your 10 digit number) when you receive on your phone you first have to assign it as a ringtone in order for it to be saved under my audio...
