LG Tone 730 mic is not working with my PC?

I have connected my LG Tone 730 to my Win 7 64bit using a rocketfish micro dongle. I can get the ear buds to work, but when I set the Bluetooth mic to default all I hear are these random blips of noise and there is nothing registering with the audio detection level bar. I have already tried muting and un-muting the LG headset by pressing the volume +and- at the same time and that didn't work. Please, any help would be great.
