We all know gays and lesbians come in all shapes, sizes, types, etc. and that the stereotypes are just that: stereotypes. But in what ways are some of the stereotypes true for you? In what ways are you the total opposite of the stereotypical gay or lesbian? Like for instance, my stereotypical traits include:

1. Being absolutely horrible at sports
2. I'm an interior architecture major in college (aka interior design)
3. I'm a huge fan of Britney Spears
4. Almost all of my friends are girls

However, I'm not stereotypical in that I:

1. Hate clothes shopping
2. Refuse to set foot in a gay bar
3. Wear baggy "skater" clothes (I hate calling it "skater" it sounds so lame)
4. I'm only an interior architecture major because I plan to later be an architect, not because I just want to make a room all prettyful.

There are many more things in both categories but those are the first to come to mind. So how about you, in what ways are you stereotypical and in what ways do you break the mold?

I ask this because me and some friends were discussing this in class today about how the majority of gays and lesbians we knew were the total opposite of the stereotype.
None of the public colleges in my state offer a bachelor's in architecture and only one college offers the master's. Interior architecture seemed like the next best thing.
