Trying to find out if I can legally get a puppy back. My mothers ex decided to breed pit bulls for money. He had no know how it money to properly care for the mother or puppies. When the mother went into labor, she had complications that led to a $500 c section and he abandoned her on my mothers doorstep because he didn't want to have to pay for it. She had puppies lodged in her for over 24 hrs. This man beat his dogs and only used them as breeding stock. Upon finding out that the mother was fixed, he said she was useless. I took mother and three puppies in and cared for them for 8 weeks. He said he wanted the male to continue on in his breeding line and tbreaten violence against me if I fixed tw puppy. Well, my mother and his cousin manipulate and lied to me. I was told he was going to a great home since she had found good homes for the other two. No! I jut found out that the puppy has been givin back to the original mothers owner for breeding. Is there ANYTHING I can do?
